Workshops
Would you like me to host a workshop for you or your company ?
If you’re looking for an alternative group activity for your colleagues, then maybe a Subversive Stitching Workshop would suit them. If so please get in touch via my contact page with your requirements.

Alternatively, l host my own workshops at various locations and these are advertised when I am via my shop.
I am also invited by museums, galleries and other educational art spaces to host workshops and give talks on my art practice, with Tea Towels, on a regular basis. These include a talk on the history of Tea Towels and their role in society and how and why I started using them to raise awareness of issues I feel need soapboxing.

I can supply all of the materials. These include a selection of Vintage Tea Towels, pre-cut felt lettering, needles, pins and thread. Workshops are delivered over a two hour period.
The price per workshop is dependent on the size of the group and its location, so please contact me with your requirements and I will send you the anticipated cost.

If you have any other questions regarding workshops, please contact me.

Workshops bookings
Full payment for workshops is required at time of booking. To secure a place you can pay online.
As long as there are places left, workshop bookings can be made up to 24 hours in advance of the workshop commencing.
Please attend on time to all workshops. A certain amount of time is allocated to each session and therefore l
will always start at the time advertised.
If you are more that 15-20 minutes late it may not be possible for you to participate in the workshop as l would have to go over the same material again which is unfair to the other workshop participants.
Please do not arrive early, you may have to wait until l have everything set up.

Workshop cancellations by you
My workshops are priced as fairly as possible and l offer good value for money. I therefore have to have a clear cancellation policy to ensure that I cover my costs and my time for the ongoing viability of further workshops.
l urge you to carefully check your diary to ensure that you are available to attend any workshops you are booking with me.
If circumstances change, or something pops up and you are unable to attend, unfortunately all my workshops and classes are non-refundable.
If you give more than 14 days notice to cancel a place on a workshop your options are as follows:
* I will be happy to transfer you to another workshop, space permitting.
* If there are no suitable future dates for you to transfer to, I can provide a voucher to be used for a future workshop booking.
* You can of course send someone in your place at any time, but please note that this is your responsibility to find a replacement person and you must let me know in advance who will be attending.
Workshop cancellations by me
In the unlikely event that l have to cancel a workshop you will be given at least 24 hours notice and offered a transfer to another date, voucher to be used at another time or a full refund. I will not be held liable for any other costs or expenses that you may incur in the event of cancellation by me.
